My Story
Why I Build
The Spark
I was 13 when I wrote my first line of QBasic. But what hooked me wasn't the code itself. It was showing it to my friend and watching their face change. They said, 'Wait, you built that?' That gap between 'just code' and 'something someone cares about' became the thing I chase.
The Moment It Clicked
My first real project was GoodWill, a platform for connecting NGO donors with volunteers. The tech was messy. MERN stack, barely held together. But three actual organizations started using it. I realized that a shipped imperfect product teaches you more than a polished tutorial project ever could. That lesson shaped how I build everything since.
What I’m Building Toward
I joined WeAssist.io because I saw the same gap I noticed at 13 — between ‘just another SaaS’ and something people actually depend on. The bet is simple: AI should do the operational grunt work like payroll, compliance, scheduling — so humans can focus on the work that needs judgment. I’m building that from scratch as the AI engineer, and it’s the hardest thing I’ve done.
